In eggpoem the participants artificially displace themselves, partly in the hopes of changing for the better, and partly to challenge the possibility of change at all by taunting and mocking the boundaries of their situation. Text, appropriated from vacation brochures and campground regulations is read by an unseen narrator who embodies the voice of enticement and limitation, schizophrenically alternating between the two.
The sound track was composed from material sampled from a recording of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto, field recordings and vocalizations.
